I am using Mozilla Firefox version 1.0 on windows XP SP1. I run 1600x1200 @
60Hz. My browser window is approximately 800x1200 pixels in size (so I can fit
2 on the screen at once). The problem occurs when I open a page such as
www.drudgereport.com that has popups. The auto popup blocker kills the popup,
and the little tan message box appears. This causes the page I am loading
to 'shake' up and down, a distance of what appears to be the height of the tan
message box. This problem also occurs on my homepage which is a custom html
page stored on my local disk that simply has a bunch of site logos and
hyperlinks to their corresponding websites. This problem seems to only occur
when a tan message box appears for popups, and other things like plugin
requirement notices. It does not occur on any page that does not produce the
tan message boxes. I tried running the same tests in SuSE Linux version 9.2
(at 1600x1200 @ 65Hz) with the same exact pages, and the errors did not occur.
I hope I gave you enough info to try and fix the bug. Thanks very much.
Is this the built-in popup blocker or a firefox extension?

WFM WinXP Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6)
Gecko/20050107 Firefox/1.0+
It's the built in one that came with firefox version 1.0. I didn't install any
extra components. It is set with all the default settings.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
