When I click on menu "Tools > Options...", the option window does not appear and
then Firefox is no more useable. It's look like a modal window is open and I
can't click anymore on menus or whatever.
I have to stop the firefox.exe process to be able to reuse Firefox. 

I've installed in the past previous release of firefox (0.9. 0.8, ...) and I
didn't removed those version before installing firefox 1.0
It's look like the window is displaied out of my screen

When re-installing Firefox 0.9, everything works fine

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run firefox
2. click on menu "Tools" and select "Options..."


Actual Results:  
The options window is not displaid

Expected Results:  
The options window should appear as a modal window

Reporter, you should always uninstall older versions before you install a new
one. Do not install on top (although Firefox 1.0 is better behaved sompared to
previous versions).

Well this is what I did after re-installing version 0.9 but now each time I
install 1.0 I've got the issue describe previously

I have the same problem. Never had an older version installed. I have
uninstalled, deleted program files folder, saved profile (prior to uninstall),
then deleted profile.  

Extensions installed = ForecastFox, Linkafication and Mozilla Calendar 0.8.3+

W2K SP2

Lots of HD space.

Will watch this space for any updates.

Are people seeing this problem using the Default (currently "Firefox (Default)
2.0") theme?

I'm having the same problem. Basically, no function can be selected from the
tools menu. I had de-installed older versions of Firefox before installing the
current version. I can't change to the default firefox them because you can't
select the theme function from the tools menu.
