Hi,

I frankly don't understand why Thunderbird is not configured by default to leave
a copy of the messages on the server.
Certainly thousands of users have had the "accident" of downloading and
automatically deleting all their online inbox, which obliged them to resend all
their messages to themself, putting an irreversible mess in their online inbox.
At least this choice should be an additonal step during the configuration of the
1st account. It's like this for Foxmail and it's much cooler.
It's because Joe User only has a 2meg mailbox at their ISP, would quickly fill
it, and wouldn't have a clue why they don't get new mail.
