I have openoffice and microsoft office on this machine (ibm thinkpad a20m)  and
I was trying to send my resume out to 5 companys that I am applying to but the
attachments came up as 1kb of garbled data.  I was using a .doc format saved by
both openoffice and msoffice.  This continued using both gmail and hotmail
accounts untill I switched to Iexplore, at which point the attachment of files
to emails worked correctly.  Feel free to contact me if you need more info.

I have build 20050317... same problem. Tried attaching files from gmail, yahoo
and hotmail. Friend did not recieve any of the files. Switched to IE...
attachments went through fine. The attachment was a simple Microsoft Office XP
Professional Word file... "*.doc"     I am runnign windows XP... fully updated
with all the patches.

I send mails + att. daily via Gmail.
Isn't it a AV or firewall problem ?
