localized char ö (ö) does not show right dot.

the letter ö (ö) has two dots, only the left is shown. the problem does not occur on the letter ä (ä) where both dots are shown. please se attatchemnt and the word "söker" (söker). i use the following fonts (edit->preferences->appearance->fonts) proportional: serif serif: adobe-times-iso8859-1 sans-serif: adobe-helvetica-iso8859-1 cursive: adobe-courier-iso8859-1 fantasy: adobe-adobe sans mm-iso8859-1 monospace: adobe-courier-iso8859-1 i have only seen this problem on linux
mozilla is: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20050108

Worksforme with a current trunk GTK1 build. Sounds like an XFT bug or a font bug...

Those don't look like xft fonts to me.

Odd. Using the same fonts as reporter in a non-XFT build, I don't see the issue. Over to Intl, but it would help to have a testcase that shows the bug....

i will look for pages where i can se this problem and report, i do not see this on an every day basis, only on some sites.

Is 'Allow documents to use other fonts' checked or not in Edit | Pref | Appearance | Fonts? Btw, the font in your screenshot doesn't look like 'Adobe-Times' or 'Adobe-Helvetica'. It's not 'Adobe-Courier', either. It's likely that whatever font Mozilla happens to use is to blame.
