My PC is P4-2.8Ghz with 512MB Ram, SCSI 10k kard disk, it is very fast;
While I was using Outlook Express every thig was happening instantly, Ex; click
on a new mail, I was able to see the content of the mail instantly.
Then I decided to get more suffisticated I installed MS-OfficeXP and use MS-
Outlook.
Guess what, after a week I realized it is much slower than my Outlook Express.
Then I decided to look for another email client that is slick and fast.
I come across Thunderbird, I installed it and let it do everything necessary to
complete the setup, my email and accounts and did all the mail filter and so on.
It took me 5 days to set it all up and run some tests.
It seems slower that outlook!
Ex;
When I run "Get Mail" it takes twice as long to get the mail while it is doing
that If I click on anything else, will freez until the mail download is
completed.
After that when I click on any mail it takes about 5 to 10 seconds till the
contents appear down below It seems it thinks too much before it actually show
anything.
I have setup 12 email accounts as I always had, nothing changed.
Thunderbird is great product and I like to see it progress and compete with MS-
Outlook, but currently I cannot justify that till I see better performance that
is compatitive and snappy.
Meanwhile How can I export my mail to another email client?
