Details

Bug 266348 notes that RSS feeds from a site that requires authentication through
a proxy server, by design, will not work until after that authentication is
complete.

This is a request to automatically trigger a refresh of any live bookmark in the
failed to load state after an authentication to the proxy server.
Depends on: 266348
No, this is a bad idea, since the auth is usually accompanied by a pageload, and
hammering the proxy (for people with multiple live bookmarks) with requests to
multiple sites is a bad plan.

Mike: I am not sure about your point.
How does Firefox proceeds when there is no proxy?
Doesn't it load the home page and all live bookmarks too?
The proxy I am using is a huge enterprise proxy that will have no trouble handling reloading all live
bookmarks once authenticated. Why not make it at least an option?
