DjVu is a plugin "for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator" which
enables viewing of DjVu documents. Having my default browser set to FFox it
tried to open itself in it. Unfortunately, FFox then began to open a new tab for
every page of the document. in MS-IE it is one document which scrolls through
all the pages. The above URL is where the viewer plug-in can be downloaded from.

The problem repeated itself 3 times and unfortunately the document was over 100
pages long!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install latest DjVu plug-in
2.Try to open DjVu document
3.Lots of tabs begin to open :{

Actual Results:
Multi-tabs opened..

Expected Results:
Open 1 window/tab and let me scroll through the document

Solution was to default DjVu files to open in MS-IE not FFox - regretable

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

Hi. I originally reported this bug, but as I don't use DjVu very often have not
had it occur since - regretably have had to set DjVu files to open in MSIE :{

Tested them today on Firefox 1.0.7 for Windows and the latest download of DjVu
(6.0.0)but the problem is still there (even though Lizardtech state, "It runs
inside most modern browsers including IE, Firefox and Safari".

If someone could look at it in time it would be good. Don't know how many people
know of DjVu though. Will copy this to Lizardtech.

Randall, do you still see this problem with the latest version of Firefox (2.0.0.3 at the time of this writing) and with the latest version of DjVu?
Closing as INCOMPLETE. If you can provide more information and can reproduce using Firefox 2.0.0.3 or later with a clean profile (and with the latest version of DjVu installed), please comment and reopen.
