Firefox rollout has increased comments in some bugs that were previously
"well-known" in the mozilla community.

One of the areas that I could address reasonably quickly was the usage of "no
proxy for".

I'm still doing PAC, but this was easy to isolate and I wanted to wrap up all
the issues in one document and put it out of my mind.
Attached file first draft
Here it is. I wrote it as a single "everything" document, and I'll probably put
it inside the /quality/networking/doc/ directory if nobody can think of a
better place. I think a more end-user document might be in order, but that is a
lower priority for me than trying to wrap up documenting PAC.

There might be some minor errors in the testcases (after a long day of being
paid to do testing, I just did a brain dump of the more obvious cases...)

Does anyone know if this is still relevant and if so where we ought to put it on MDC?
Or indeed, does it belong on MDC rather than the QA wiki?
Eric: I pushed the document into my old QA sub-tree a long time ago.

Obviously this location is ancient, so I'd like to work out a way to move the content to the right place, and then mothball the old stuff.

I don't suppose you still have this updated documentation so I can pull it? Or was it live on mozilla.org and I just need to pull it from mothballs there?
