if you add more elements in the test case, it will be clearer to get the wrong rendering at the bottom of the page

We're hitting MAX_FRAME_DEPTH ... Reporter, it would help if you can add a comment to bug 256180 describing which Linux distribution/version/architecture your are using and also the output from the following command (it tells max. stack depth): ulimit -s *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 256180 ***

The original testcase would be fixed by a fix to bug 256180, but the underlying cause is some weird quirks mode parser behavior. IE renders this testcase as expected. This needs to be reopened for reconsideration.

That's bug 271885 AFAICT.

i can't see anything related to 271885. there is no div, no css rule. only plain elements. if you cut down the element amounts, mozilla renders them fine. it's definitely related to amounts not formats.
