Details
I can't run multiple instances on thunderbird 1.0 under windows xp. It used to work when using thunderbird 0.8 in linux. Running only one thunderbird with multiple accounts in one profile is not an option. Can't switch back to 0.8 version because it's just too slow and unstable with the amount of mail I get.

This is by design, all Mozilla applications doesn't allow to run more than one instance unde windows.

(In reply to comment #1) > This is by design, all Mozilla applications doesn't allow to run more than one > instance unde windows. > It would be nice to have a switch to use when starting that would enable this multiple instances thing. Because this is a very usefull feature at least to me.
