When you create a folder starting with a dot (example : .bug), it appears fine
in the folder list. If you safe mails in it, no problem either.

Restart thunderbird. The folder is no longer there, and thus the mails in it
have disappeared. Close thunderbird.

The files are still in the profile. Renaming the example .bug.sbd to bug.sbd,
and renaming .bug and .bug.msf to resp. bug and bug.msf sortof-restore it, after
restarting thunderbird.

However, it's still labeled .bug. Attempts to rename it to bug fail (at least,
when using F2).

Renaming it to .bug.bug does work. If you rename it then to bug, the mail in the
folder is lost. I have not managed to get it back after this step.

Please advise.
