Upon the completion of downloading and installation, Mozilla opens with what
looks to be some kind of formatting that displays as red, white and blue bars,
arrows, zig-zag lines. The browser functions. But, the display is all wrong.
I have a screen shot that shows it clearly and will try to past it here.

Well, I can't find any way to show you what this looks like. Please advise me
as to how I can transmit an image of this problem.

John, there's no need to add yourself to the CC list, because you are the
reporter, just a tip ok ;)

Now, what version did you download/install?

Type about: in the location bar and press enter, copy/paste the line that looks
like this:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20050313

"Well, I can't find any way to show you what this looks like."

Can you make a screenshot?

"Please advise me as to how I can transmit an image of this problem."

Just attach your screenshot with help of the 'Create a New Attachment' link.
Josh, please reply to the questions in comment 1. Without further info, we can't
find the cause of what's wrong and will mark this INVALID.

Screenshot: press the print screen button, open ms paint or such, paste, save as
jpg and attach the file in bugzilla.
