Details
I have the calendar application (2004121718-cal) installed as an extension of Thunderbird 1.0 (20041206). If I close Thunderbird but leave the claendar running, I can't restart Thunderbird. I have to close the calendar in order to restart Thunderbird. Suggest either fix the situation so I can close the applications independently or force the calendar to close when Thunderbird is closed.

I can confirm this bug - I have Calendar starting up on windows startup and then am unable to open Thunderbird. Closing Calendar will then allow me to start Thunderbird. This can be reproduced every time. I suggest that a "sufficiently empowered user" should confirm this bug since I'm unable to.

I can no longer confirm this bug as I switched to the calendar as a Thunderbird extension. As far as I'm concerned, the bug can be closed.

The original problem was with the now abandoned calendar extension. The calendar team isn't aware of any restart problems with Tb and the new Lightning calendar extension. So this bug is INVALID.
