I am not sure what causes this problem, but after the computer has been on for
some time, all text fields stop being able to accept focus properly.
What I mean is that the cursor won't appear, but they possibly can still accept
focus because if you hold down the mouse button, the context sensitive menu
still pops up for the field. "All text fields" includes the url bar.
A couple of work-arounds that I have discovered are that if there is something
on the Mac equivalent of the clipboard (not sure what it is called) you can
paste some text into the field via the context sensitive menu and all will be
well again for a while.
This led me to put something on the clipboard by opening textedit.
Then I realised that just opening textedit will fix the problem for a while as
well. Then when the problem happens again, just giving a textedit window focus
will fix the problem for a while.

Actually I think, but I can't remember 100% because I have been using the
work-around for some time now and do it almost instinctually, that the problem
affects buttons and other form fields and highlighting as well, so it could be a
widespread thing that the entire page doesn't accept focus properly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a window (possibly also a tab, but I always have multiple tabs open)
2. Do nothing for a while (I think this is all it takes)

Actual Results:  
Cannot type in text in any fields

Expected Results:  
Can type text in any field

Not using any theme other than the default.
Just using a Powerbook G4 running 10.3.7
