Cannot go directly to a secure page in FireFox. Both SSLs are selected in Options (default). Selecting TLS doesn't help.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a new FireFox browser. (clear history and cookies if you've been to a Verizon site) 2. Go to http://netservices.verizon.net/portal/site/verizon/index.jsp. 3. Click on the "My Account" link on the left side. 4. Log on to Verizon with username and password. (You will need a Verizon account to do this.) Results: The URL changes to "https://sso.verizon.net/portal/ProcessLoginServlet", the page is blank, and it says "Done" in the status bar. NOTES: Clicking on the browser's Reload button does not take user to the correct page. It is still blank. But, clicking on the Back button will take user to the "My Account" page. From there, user can go to "Billing" --> "Online Usage" to find out how many hours they have been online for the month. This is an HTTPS page. On the "Online Usage" page, I bookmarked the URL, and can go directly to this page in IE, but can't in FireFox. As long as I keep the FireFox browser open, I can click on the Bookmarked page and go back there (to the "Online Usage" page) without error once I've been there. But if I close out of FireFox, re-open another FireFox browser window, and click on this bookmark, it pops up with a blank page again. Even though no cache, cookies, or history has been deleted. After getting a blank page, clicking on the bookmarked URL again will take user to the correct page. Clicking the Back button and then the Forward button does not work. Neither does clicking on the Refresh button. If the History and Cookies have been deleted, opening a new FireFox browser and going directly to this bookmark will get a white page with the text "Not Supported Method". Clicking the Reload button under this condition WILL take user to the Login page. But logging-in still takes user to a blank page. Another note: Doing just the first couple of steps: opening FireFox, going to this bookmarked URL, and getting a white page, if user opens another tab in this window and clicks on the bookmarked URL, page will open successfully. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a new FireFox browser. (clear history and cookies if you've been to a Verizon site) 2. Go to http://netservices.verizon.net/portal/site/verizon/index.jsp. 3. Click on the "My Account" link on the left side. 4. Log on to Verizon with username and password. (You will need a Verizon account to do this.) Actual Results: Results: The URL changes to "https://sso.verizon.net/portal/ProcessLoginServlet", the page is blank, and it says "Done" in the status bar. Expected Results: Expected: To go directly to the "Online Usage" page without error the first time I click on the bookmarked URL, or copy and paste URL in address bar.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
