preventing user from scrolling with the mouse wheel or typing in forms until the
current window is clicked on again.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. load a tab in the background
2. try to interact with current page (focus is lost, nothing will happen)
3. click on current page
4. try to interact again, it will work this time (focus was regained)

This is very VERY annoying!
As a die-hard Opera fan (who would like to switch to a more free browser), this
just puts me off Firefox.
I want to be able to work my way through a web page, clicking on a dozen or more
links--which open in a non-focused tab--and then look through them at my
leisure.
I DON'T want my child tabs to steal focus from my main browsing tab.
Please fix this!

It's not just the tab that loses focus, this affects other applications, too. I
was happily typing in Thunderbird when my previously clicked-on link finally
loaded and Firefox jumped to the front, interrupting my typing.
