What's useless is, unfortunately, this bug report. You didn't even specify which
site that doesn't change the link colors. 

If a site has specified the same link colors for visited and unvisited links,
you will not see visited links in a different color. (However, you can make
Firefox always display visited links in a specific color for a specific site, by
adding a rule in a config file. If you would like some help with that, feel free
to contact me directly, outside this bug report.)

Tools\options\Privacy\}history is set to how many days ?
Or Do you mean that you have to reload the page to see the visited links ?
