Just found the problem. I disabled the Memory cache earlier. When Memory cache is disabled, the displayed site disappears. So while I found a workaround for the bug, I do not mark it as Fixed, since it seems, turning off Memory cache, causes many bugs. The question is, if Memory cache is disabled, why I get such effects? When Memory cache is disabled, some links are not working, some sites are not loaded. This is a bad behaviour.

(In reply to comment #2) > Just found the problem. I disabled the Memory cache earlier. Not supported; that is why there isn't UI exposed for this behavior. > When Memory cache is disabled, the displayed site disappears. > So while I found a workaround for the bug, I do not mark it as Fixed, since it > seems, turning off Memory cache, causes many bugs. > > The question is, if Memory cache is disabled, why I get such effects? There were bugs on it, but in the end we decided not to expose this pref through the user interface. As such, we don't support memory cache being disabled. Tempted to mark INVALID, but this might also be an outright DUP of our outstanding memory cache bugs.

Then this bug may be a dupe, but not invalid anyway!

Let me be perfectly clear: Memory cache is now a percentage of your system memory (RAM), and should NOT be set down to 0 by the user. See the many bugs listed in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=mem+cache&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&bug_status=RESOLVED&bug_status=VERIFIED&resolution=FIXED&resolution=WONTFIX&resolution=DUPLICATE&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=exact&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailtype2=exact&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=
