User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050115 Camino/0.8+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050115 Camino/0.8+ When I first started using Camino, I found the control for tabbed browsing oddly appealing. I didn't understand why, because it looked nothing like a set of tabs. When I recently tried out a nightly build, I discovered why as a result of the fix for bug 235782 (new flexible tabbed browsing control). It was the aqua-coloring on the old version of tabs that made me more comfortable using them. Users like me, who are set in our ways, should have an option to continue using the standard Aqua tab widget instead of the new one. An incantation to add to user.js would be fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get used to Camino, version 0.8.2 or older. 2. Download a later nightly. 3. Stare in disbelief at the new tab bar. Actual Results: Disappointment at the lack of that comfortable light blue. Expected Results: A warning in advance (e.g. in the release notes) and a way to restore old behavior.
we can play more with the look, but i think we're going to stick to a single implementation for a variety of dev reasons. we don't want to have to support two types of tab widgets.
