Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050115 Camino/0.8+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050115 Camino/0.8+

The "Show History" (cmd-Y) command in the View menu should change to "Hide
History" whenever the bookmark manager is visible in the current window.

Otherwise, it is counter-intuitive how to go back to browsing the web,
especially since "Hide All Bookmarks" is in a completely different menu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pull down the View menu
2. Choose "Show History"
3. Pull down the View menu again

Actual Results:
The "Show History" menu item is visible, although it has no effect. It is not
obvious how to hide the history/bookmarks overlay.

Expected Results:
"Hide History" appears in the place of "Show History".
This is essentially asking for (one of) the same things I wanted in bug 266394.
See Pinkerton's comments; this bug will likely get marked WONTFIX or WORKSFORME.

The back button now works, the bookmarks icon on the toolbar acts as a toggle
(like cmd-b), and once the bookmarks manager gets shoved into a tab, it should
be a lot less confusing.

Perhaps "Show all Bookmarks"/"Hide all Bookmarks" should be renamed to
"Show/Hide Bookmarks Manager" to add a little bit of clarity?
