278797 - Mouse clicks seem to happen a million times a second causing menu flickering

This is very strange and seems to be related to some extensions I've been trying
to uninstall recently (install of uninstalling, Firefox crashes on relaunching
meaning that the extensions are stuck in the "This extension will be uninstalled
after you relaunch" state).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on a bookmark toolbar group or dropdown menu
Actual Results:  
The menu/dropdown flickers rapidly and makes things unselectable.

Expected Results:  
The menu should have displayed normally.

Interestly, before this behavior happened, I had a crash that was preceded by
weird empty gray dropdowns... I wonder if something got corrupted in the process.

This shows the dropdowns passing over another tabbed page (similar to the
MRJPlugin bugs.)

It does seem that my PNG previews match that other bug. But the flickering
effect is certainly different (see the video attachments).

I've since restarted a bunch of times and uninstalled a couple extensions and
the problem seems to have gone away. I'm not really sure what to do about such a
strange, unreproduceable bug, but I'll let you guys mull it over since it might
be related to that previous bug.
