Steps to reproduce:
- Click a newsgroup message
- Click the Thread icon. It does not matter whether the thread is currently expanded
  The message will be deselected (this is not the bug)
- Click the message again (eg by clicking on the subject).

Actual Results: The message is not displayed

Expected Results: Message is displayed.
