Reporter, always give the exact text of the warning. Is it always the same site? Please provide a URL. What i expect is that your firewall is in the way and blocking traffic on a specific port. Suppose you have site A for your home page and Moz starts up, loading your start-up page. Now if that site uses a strange port, Moz won't be able to connect to it. While other sites and other browsing may work normally. But without URL i can't test anything further...
Preston: please use bugzilla for all correspondence. That way everyone is always up to date with what happens, and not just me ["more eyes" etc.] the error you get "www.hrltnprmwigqt.com cannot be found" makes sense, that web site simply doesn't exist. My guess is that somehow your settings have been changed, so that firefox loads that page when you start the program. Click TOOLS - OPTIONS, look under GENERAL what's set as your homepage?
(In reply to comment #2) > Preston: please use bugzilla for all correspondence. Got PM from reporter, the steps from comment 2 resolved his problem, so no bug here -> INVALID
