User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

Not always, but frequently when I visit www.sinfest.net (directly or as one of
multiple tabs being loaded in parallel) the entire browser crashes (all tabs,
all windows). Ran firefox from the shell and received:

pure virtual method called
/usr/bin/firefox: line 392: 19588 Aborted

I strongly suspect the problem is triggered by some content on that site. I can
reproduce the problem each and every time over several hours or an entire day
while the page remains unaltered.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit the site 'www.sinfest.net'
2. If browser does not crash by the time the page is finished loading, go
backwards through the comic (the page for 18-Jan-2005 caused a crash, at least
today; there are others a few weeks before that)
3.

Actual Results:
All tabs, all browser windows are gone; software has terminated.

Expected Results:
Firefox should display the page.

Plugins I have installed (I will try to determine which--if any--might be
involved with this crash and update the bug report):

Java(TM) Plug-in 1.4.2_06

Helix DNA Plugin: RealPlayer G2 Plug-In Compatible version 0.4.0.432 built with
gcc 3.2.0 on Sep 24 2004

will start external gxine media player for embedded media streams

Shockwave Flash 6.0 r79

File name: nppdf.so

Scalable Vector Graphics, as handled by RSVG-2.8.1. Views SVG images.
