Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040617
In Firefox 1.0 under Linux (Slackware) when I try to set a home page with a
group of pages/tabs ("use current group"), I go through the process and when
closing Firefox and reopen it the home page settings have reset back to a random
single page. If I set the home page as a single page (any page) OR a blank page
and close and reopen, the settings are kept correctly. Problem is obviously only
when saving a home page as group. The problem can be duplicated indefinitaly.
I have tried to reinstall Firefox multiple times with and without the Mozilla
Suite installed (1.7.3), I have deleted and created multiple new profiles, both
for Root and for a normal user, I have removed ALL traces of anything related to
Mozilla/Firefox in the Linux box ( in case some old profile was "hidden"
somewhere), and problem still appears every time. The Mozilla Suite is NOT
affected (in my case).
Any other information you need, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Thanks and keep up the excellent work!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open browser
2.open the web-pages desired to be used as "home page group"
3.open preferences and click the "use current group" to set home page
4.groups is created
5. close firefox
6. reopen firefox and home page is back to a random page (usually mozilla.org or
yahoo.com) ignoring the previously set home page group
Actual Results:
Firefox reverts back to random home page (usually mozilla.org or yahoo.com)
ignoring my settings for home page group
Expected Results:
Home Page Group should be kept as set in preferences by user
It happens with ANY theme that I have installed, default or otherwise. I first
notices it before installing any other theme and working just wiht the default one.

I have the same problem, except that the usual pages are gamecopyworld.com or
adobe.com. The home page set in the Preferences is correct and does not change,
and the home page will appear by hitting the "Home" button.
My system is Linux Redhat 9.

I fail to reproduce this bug with my trunk build. Saved home page group behaves
as expected upon restart of the browser.
Do you still get this bug with the latest nightly build?

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
