If you enter the username with %40 instead of @, does it work?
Works for me on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1)

Resolving as worksforme.

I have even tried with only @'s in both username in password, and even that is
working (i.e username: @@@ password: @@@).
