We've had hacks on bmo occasionally. I'd like to be able to do this officially.

query, enter_bug, buglist, should all send permanent redirects with the updated
locations. optionally the system could log the referrer and provide a reporting
mechanism so that admins could ask people to update their links.

when a product (component) is renamed there should be an option to automatically
add add the old name to the redirect list.

there should be an easy way to get a list of all active redirects including when
they were created and where they go as well as a way to remove them.

Looks like the complexity (backend + UI code) doesn't worth the effort.
