It just contains a readme.txt file and Makefile.in file. Some simple application the uses APIs to comunicate with Gecko can be available in this folder. The aplication can use GTK, XUL or some another UI Toolkit to present that this comunitation is possible. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Build the source code 2. Enter in the directory $path_to_mozilla/mozilla/embedding/examples/ 3. use the 'ls' command Actual Results: None sample application is avilable in the folder ... Expected Results: Show many sample application , separeted by its own directories. I'm running the mozilla 1.7.3 ... on a Debian System ...

this isn't a minimo bug; it is a general embedding bug.. Examples exist in mozilla/embedding/tests. Maybe we should just remove embedding/examples?

Sorry Doug, I didn't see inside that directory . Remove the "examples" folder is a good solution ... Regards ... Antonio Gomes
