After restarting Thunderbird, I see that folder contents was imported, but failed renaming folder from temporary name to acutal name. Replaced \ with _ and import was successful. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create mail folder in outlook containing \ in folder name 2.Import Mail from Outlook to Thunderbird. 3.Crash happens. Actual Results: 2 Application Error messages and application terminated. Then Mozilla Quality Feedback Agent appeared. Expected Results: Replace special characters (i.e. \) with a safe character during import.

Several sections removed to make file small enough to post. Missing sections can be forwarded upon request...
we can't use the random bits from the talkback dialog, get talkback working so that it sends its data to the server and then run talkback and copy the incident id to this bug.

Talkback ID's TB3181592G (different behavior this time, a test folder was imported with a \ successfully) TB3181674X - behavior originally reported. Folder being imported was called Thawte\Versign and in the Outlook Mail folder in Thunderbird I have a folder 744a274f with the folder's messages...

While I thought this was related to the \ in the folder name, I am no longer sure. I was able to import other folders successfully with a \ in the name and they where left with random names and the import did finish successfully... I am now suspicious of several email messages within various folders that either caused the import to hang or crash. I have a pst file that contains three messages and at least one of them is causing a crash (if not all)... I can mail the pst file to whomever is working on the issue to assist in debugging...
