To reproduce, download today's trunk build and try to type Hebrew in a textarea or in the URLbar. Result: Hebrew displays as accented Latin (extended ASCII). This problem doesn't effect copied Hebrew text, just one that is typed. Tested with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050119 Typing Hebrew worked fine in 1.8a6, so it has to be a fairly new regression. This is similar to Bug 81302 (Linux) which was fixed a long while ago. Anyone care to verify this on other platforms? Prog.
