Account Settings -> Advanced

The default tab is the pop tab, but the pop tab is the second tab. This is
contrary to standard tab behaviour.

- if you think that the pop3 tab is more important and should be selected first,
make it the first tab
- if you want the tab bar to remember the last selected tab, make it so
- if you want the application to have a standard and accepted behaviour, make
the first tab selected.

This should not be hard to fix...

I also believe that it is more reasonable to make first tab selected. To
achieve this, it would be enough to take out the code which selects second tab.

Bug 202468's patch is going to remove the SMTP tab from the dialog -- and all 
tabs, I believe -- so this will be moot.
