User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20050111 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20050111 When right-clicking a .html file in Windows Explorer, the "edit" menu item does not launch Composer. Instead, it launches the Mozilla browser with the default start page. The "Open" and "edit" context menu commands stored in the windows registry are constructed as follows: Open: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MozillaHTML\shell\open\command] (Defalt) = C:\PROGRA~1\MOZILLA.ORG\MOZILLA\MOZILLA.EXE -url "%1" Edit: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MozillaHTML\shell\edit\command] (Default) = C:\PROGRA~1\MOZILLA.ORG\MOZILLA\MOZILLA.EXE -edit "%1" Mozilla is not recognizing the "-edit" command line parameter to launch Composer. This bug has been apparent in 1.8a5 too, and possibly earlier versions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mozilla 2. Create a file with the extension .html 3. Right-click the .html file and choose "edit" from the context menu Actual Results: Mozilla launched the web browser with the default start page. Expected Results: Mozilla should launch Composer and open the selected file.
WFM, using Mozilla 1.8b1 Composer opens with the selected file. Maybe only a problem on Windows 98?
