RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 207709

People

(Reporter: tevion48x, Assigned: bugzilla)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

When I enter about:cache in the URL bar, the cache is not shown to me anymore.
Why not? Nothing happens if I enter it and press enter or if I click Go.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter about:cache
2. Press enter or click Go
3. Nothing happens

Actual Results:
Nothing happened! Thats the problem.

Expected Results:
I should see the cache.

Its ugly to view the cache with Mozilla and Firefox. IE is much better with just
saving the cache uncompressed in a folder!
Mozilla 1.8a4, Windows XP.
I had the same problem on this system, but not in Mac OS X.
Does this still happen?
If so, what are the 'browser.cache' preferences ?
(See about:config, filter: browser.cache)

Very probably related to Bug 207709, which solved an issue with about:cache not
working if both memory and disk caches are disabled.
Proposing to dup this one to 207709.
