After dismissing the error dialog that appears after trying to go to an
inexistant web page, keyboard shortcuts do not work anymore: neither Ctrl-L,
Ctrl-N, PgUp, PgDn, Alt-F, Alt-left, ...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ctrl-L or click to focus address bar
2. Type in www.inexistantpage.org, hit enter
3. Error dialog appears (...could not be found. Please check the name and try again)
4. Hit Ctrl-L to type in another address, or Ctrl-N to open a new window
Actual Results:
Nothing happens, as if mozilla didn't have the focus - even though the window
decorations indicate that it does have focus.

Expected Results:
Ctrl-L should focus the address bar, Ctrl-N should open a new window.

I am using the sawfish window manager, in case that's relevant.

The bug appears whether or not there is more than one tab in that particular window.

I have only tried this for the "not found" error, but I suspect that other error
messages may have the same result (I just can't think of any error I can trigger
to check).

This bug may be related to similar behavior in the MailNews application,
reported as bug 128510.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
