User-Agent:       Opera/7.54 (Windows NT 5.1; U)  [en]
Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird version 1.0 (20041206)

I'm trying to disable password manager with the preference user_pref("wallet.
enabled", false);, I have tried to enter this preference in prefs.js or user.js.
I have also tried to put it in all-thunderbird in the default\pref-folder. But
TB still asks the user to remember his or hers password.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Close TB
2. Edit prefs.js with the string user_pref("wallet.enabled", false);
3. Start TB

Actual Results:
TB still ask "Use Password manager to remember this password."

Expected Results:
Disabled the password manager
We found another way to disable password manager, after som digging: There are
two ways:

1. Insert into prefs.js:
user_pref("signon.rememberSignons", false);

2 Or edit the file en-US-mail.jar and leave the options blank at these entries:

SaveThisPasswordObscured=
SaveThisPasswordEncrypted =

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

reproduction information if you have it.
