Since the event lasts all day, it has no specific time. It would be better if, for an all-day event, the actual time for the alarm to go off is specified(eg, at 4pm the day before the all day event) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Expected Results: It would be better if, for an all-day event, the actual time for the alarm to go off is specified(eg, at 4pm the day before)

We might want to look into this one. 1. Create an all day event 2. Try to set an alarm for the all day event -- Actual -- None of the alarm time options make much sense Further testing has shown that if I set an allday event to happen tomorrow, and I set any alarm on it, the alarm immediately fires. Even a "fire 15 mins before the event" alarm setting will immediately fire the alarm (And I'm currently 12 hours away from midnight). This seems to imply that the actual alarm setting used on all day events is "fire alarm one day prior". However, take a look at this: 1. Create the event to be two days out with a 15min prior alarm 2. Close sunbird, reset the computer's date to be the day before the event created in step 1 3. Start sunbird. 4. Note that the alarm for event in step 1 does NOT fire. -- Expected -- The UI alarm settings for all day events should reflect what they are actually doing. Perhaps "15 minutes before" and "30 minutes before" could be changed to be "one day before" and "two days before". Since the user can set a custom alarm on their all-day event, I'm going to mark this as a minor bug, but I will go ahead and confirm it. Using Build: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20061031 Calendar/0.4a1 I was also able to confirm the event dialog inconsistency on Mac, but the wierd firing of the alarm on the day before does not happen in 0.3 Release Lightning on Mac. Lowering Status to minor Changing OS to all Confirming bug.

With the latest release, you can specify an absolute time now. Aside from that, at least theoretically, the alarm should fire x minutes before midnight. Please retest this on the latest nightlies.
