I just got the latest build and 2 things happen with jpg files
Fisrt when i attempt to save files to my hard drive they dont save.
Second once in awhile they will save and if i have to rename a file say the file
is just called 001.jpg,if i put something in front of 001.jpg for example
car001.jpg,when i save it to disk the file if saved as 001car.jpg.
It reverses the name of the file.
How do i fix this?
email me at echobaseau@hotmail.com

Reproducible: Sometimes
If you try to save a file, do you see any errors in the Javascript console (see
Tools - Web development)?

Please enable before under Edit - Preferences - Debug: Miscellaneous
[x] Show strict JS warnings and [x] show crome JS errors ...
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I see similar on Seamonkey 2005013005 in Windows. I can't get it to save any
file at all (using right-click, Save Image As)

Javascript console reports error:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code:
0x80040154 (NS_ERROR_FACTORY_NOT_REGISTERED) [nsITransfer.init]"  nsresult:
"0x80040154 (NS_ERROR_FACTORY_NOT_REGISTERED)"  location: "JS frame ::
chrome://communicator/content/contentAreaUtils.js :: internalSave :: line 376"

This seems like a major regression. Big enough to block 1.8b?
Flags: blocking1.8b?
Try if the URL of Bug 180672 helps or the deletion of the file compreg.dat. If
so, this bug is a duplicate. This is a common bug, not a regression.
Too late for 1.8b1. Please don't renominate for 1.8b2 without answering comment 4.
Flags: blocking1.8b? → blocking1.8b-
Deleting Compreg.dat seems to have fixed it for me. Marking WFM since reporter
hasn't responded.
