Not sure if related to bug 272053, but if you try one of the newsgroup like
www.wonderfuland.net or news.idsam.com, the most of the message has subject line
lack of =?Big5?B?W2NoYXR?= kind of encoding, I guess that's why the chinese
characters in the subject panel are now shown correctly, however it should
always fall back to the user preference, in this case Traditional Chinese i have
set. At least Outlook shows characters correctly in this case

Please locate a sample message that does not display correctly, save it as a 
.EML file, and attach it to this bug using the Create New Attachment link above.
