Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: version 1.0 (20041206) I've installed trunk build yesterday, and then 1.0 back again. Then there's nothing in my RSS Subscriptions dialog, but the rss directories(that is, the downloaded rss feeds) are still there. When I try to add a new subscription, Thunderbird hangs at the downloading of the last feed(5/5, 10/10, etc.) Thunderbird will still download the feeds I subscripted before(but I can't see the subscriptions) on time. But I've set "display summary instead of show web page" before, Thunderbird still show the web page of the newly downloaded feeds. Then I deleted the "News & Blogs" account and recreate it, but still hangs at the downloading of the last feed. Then I find that there's a empty feeditems.rdf and feeds.rdf file in the profile root directory(should in <ProfileRoot>\Mail\News & Blogs). Delete them, and add subscriptions, it's OK now. But I recreated the 2 file, and I can still add subscriptions correctly. I don't know the extract relate between the 2 file and the rss subscription function. Reproducible: Didn't try
I see this too with a trunk build from 2005-01-13 After adding feeds, exit, then restart TB and the Manage subscriptions window is blank. Also, changing the state of the "Show the article summary instead of loading the web page" has no effect - the behaviour is always how the checkbox was set when the feed was subscribed to. feeditems.rdf and feeds.rdf _are_ in the Mail/News & Blogs directory here, not in the profile root as the reporter sees.
