Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041111 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041111 Firefox/1.0 I've set Mozilla Firefox to open the Download Manager when a download starts and close it after the download is complete. The Download Manager opens all OK, but doesn't close after the download is complete. I have to close the window manually. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Check both "Show Download Manager window when a download begins" and "Close the Download Manager when all downloads are complete" in Download preferences. 2. Download something. 3. Wait for the download to finish. Actual Results: The download finishes OK and the Download Manager window stays there. Closing it by hand gets rid of it. Expected Results: The Download Manager window should have closed automatically when the download finished.

After a later test, it seems that this bug does not happen on *all* downloads. When saving images displayed on web pages, especially very small ones (less than 100 kb), the bug happens as described. When downloading a big file, for example a 50 Mb RPM, the bug doesn't happen, the Download Manager window closes as normal.
This is a duplicate of bug 243324.
