Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Firefox 1.0 While downloading Norton Antivirus 2004 90 days trial, i had to cancel the download from the download manager because it seemed to have froze. When i canceled it, the partly downloaded file remained on the computer and i was not allowed to delete it. The same thing happened again, so now i have two files on my desktop that won't delete. I have tried to delete the files after end tasking firefox; i have tried to delete the files in safe mode; and i have tried to overwrite the files with a different download and then to delete it Also, as something else because i ran out of ideas, i send (copy) the file into 'My Documents', now i have three files that refused to be deleted. Whenever i tried to delete it, it says it is being used by another program... but those files are all compressed files... Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.download an antivirus software trial version from norton 2.cancel the download (while it seems have frozen, so tried to overload the CPU or something 3.when the uncomplete download remain on the desktop, try deleting it Actual Results: i got files (part file i suppose) that i cannot delete Expected Results: technically, when i tried with other small downloads while they are still low in completion, once i pressed concell the partly downloaded file is automatically delete off my desktop
