Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050105 Debian/1.7.5-1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050105 Debian/1.7.5-1 I have about 10 different filters. I have ALWAYS to run them manually to get my mail sorted- I am using third party spam program that works as a smarthost. It tags every mail "spam-not spam-not known" and I want to sort my mail automatically. The filters worked just fine with mozilla 1.7.3 and they seem to be ok and activated, but it annoys me that I need to execute the filters manually. The filters work just fine when run manually, but where is the enable switch to make them run automatically as they did before? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open mail window. 2. Push get msgs. The filters DID apply simultaneously with 1.7.3 or earlier Mozilla. Not anymore. I need to run them manually now and I think it is annoying. Actual Results: The filters do not apply and every mail, including junk mail and mail that needs sorting, sit just in Inbox. Expected Results: It should have sorted the mail as did version 1.7.3 or earlier. I do not know how the 1.7.4 version works, I have not noticed when Debian Testing had this (or it had at all?). The filters had worked for ages automatically, why not anymore?
This was a regression in 1.7.5. It is fixed in the latest builds from the 1.7 branch (pre-1.7.6). Please upgrade to it. http://ftp.eu.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.7/ *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 275558 ***
