Upon switching from Release 1.0 to latest 20050120, URLs sent from other
applications (Thunderbird, Groupwise, Fire, webloc files, etc) no longer work in
Firefox. The URL event is definitely firing in OSX, and Firefox becomes the
foreground application, but the event is ignored.
Just to be clear, here is my standard upgrade procedure, used every time for
over a year:
1: download Firefox gz, extract, mount dmg.
2: quit Firefox.
3: open /Applications/Internet/Mozilla folder
4: drag Firefox from image to folder, replace older version.
5: unmount image, delete dmg.
6: open Firefox.
