User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Platform: MAC, Dual 1 GHz PowerPC G4, OS: OS X 10.3.7 FIRST STATE: Large browser window => No apparent vertical scrollbar increment arrow (VSIA) 1. When no horizontal scrollbar exists, VSIA button is just a very narrow space below the decrement arrow button and the lower right-hand, Mac window resize button. 2. It will work if one places the mouse over the narrow space. 3. No horizontal scrollbar exists when browser window is wider than maximum table width in source code or some other width limitation (“container”). 4. If browser window is resized to make it smaller than the html coded maximum table width, the horizontal scrollbar appears and VSIA fully appears. SECOND STATE: “Find” toolbar displayed => VSIA displays correctly 1. Added appear/ disappear state of VSIA occurs when invoking the “Find in This Page” function. 2. Invoking this function, places the “Find” toolbar on the bottom of the window and the VSIA appears fully. 3. Close this “Find” toolbar and the VSIA disappears if the window is large as noted in first state. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Noted in details Actual Results: see details Expected Results: VSIA display fully all the time

Uses Mac G4 dual (450Mhz); OsX 10.3.9/ Firefox 1.04 : I find a direct link between hide/show events of horisontal scrollbar and hide/show of down arrow in vertical scrollbar. When no horisontal scrollbar: down-arrow is hidden (just represented by narrow line)
