Thunderbird version 0.8 (20040913) crashes when I click on a file that has a
zero length executable attachment. No crash occurs when the attachment is not
zero length.

Zero length files having these extensions cause Thunderbird to crash: .crt,
.email, .cla, .cpl (and there are probably others). Zero length attachments with
these extensions do not crash thunderbird: .com, .exe, .class

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a zero length file
2. Name it with a .cpl extension
3. Attach it to an email and send it to yourself
4. Click on the subject line in Thunderbird

Actual Results:
Crash
This bug is fixed in version 1.0.
