If I try to reply to the message http://msitc.de/crashmessage.eml (and some
others that are replys to this message by others) Mozilla imediatly crashes with
"Speicherzugriffsfehler" which is Signal 11 or Segmentation Fault in POSIX locale.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import the refered message and reply to it.

Actual Results:
SegFault

Expected Results:
Open a message compose window.
It can not reproduce it by importing the message to a local mbox. The original
message is on an IMAP-Server. If someone is interested I could give IMAP-Access
to an account on this server. -- martin-schmitz@web.de

Can you give as a talback report (send talkback report and then open
talkback/talkback in your Mozilla folder to get the id)?

After further investigation it seems that it's not mozillas fault but enigmails.
Although I do not understand because enigmail works fine for the rest of the
3000+ messages I have seen with this release - and some of the messages
triggering the crash aren't signed or encrypted anyway.

To get the talkback utility I did a fresh install of 1.8a6 from
http://www.mozilla.org/releases/ (Linux, XFT&GTK2) and created a fresh profile.
Nothing happend while replying to the above mentioned message. Then I installed
enigmail - and mailnews imediatly crashed whenever I just tried to *view* a
message. strange. this is the only talkback I could give at this time.

The mozilla I used in the first place is a self-compiled 1.8a6_RELEASE with a
self-compiled enigmail - and it works fine for many, many mail and news
messages, signed or encrypted, besides the one above mentioned and a few replys
to it.

So, what to do next? Contact the author of enigmail? Or shall I send the
talkback anyway?

Sorry for the irritation and thank you for your investigation. -- Martin

I think both would be good. Submit the talkback report and then send the
talkback number (and maybe a link to http://talkback-public.mozilla.org) to the
developer of Enigmail.
Closing this bug report as wfm now (since this seems Enigmail fault).
