When clicking on mailto:***, Firefox insists on opening Netscape 4.79 Email
program, even though I no longer use it for Email (i retain it only to check new
webpages still support it's use).

Options has no apparent way to change this; Help has no entry for Email, or how
to change the default client (neither does the FAQ, etc)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Search Help for Email
2.
3.

Actual Results:
No result

Expected Results:
Some hint of how to change the default Email client.
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Firefox inherits the settings from the OS to open your default email client.
Thus, this setting is outside the scope of Firefox and is in the scope of
file/protocol associations in Windows. As such it will not be in Help
documentation, as your preferred email client should have properly set this so
that Firefox can use it transparently. Consult the documentation included with
your email client, or look into documentation on how to change associations in
Windows.
