I am unable to launch 1.8a6. It crashes before opening.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on the Mozilla Icon
2.Icon bounces several times in the dock.
3.Crash before opening and before creating any of the application menu bar at
the top.

Actual Results:  
Crash

Expected Results:  
Launch w/o crash.

I am using Mac OS X 10.3.7 on a B/W G3-350.

Mozilla 1.8a3 and Mozilla 1.7.5 launch as expected using the same profile.

I recently reinstalled my OS 10.3->10.3.7 so I don't expect some corruption in
the OS.

I am resolving this bug as worksforme. I had reports from several Mac users that
1.8a6 did work for them so I decided to give it one more attempt. I launched the
brwqser holding the option key to open the profile manager. since this worked, I
selected my profile and the browser opened!  Iam not sure what caused the crash
before, but now it works.
