Please add tabs to the contextual menu for switching tab. It would be nice to have the tab switching
menu right at your finger tip. It should be far more convenient than the pop up menu in the dock icon.
I don't mean taking out the tab entries in the dock menu though. It is useful for coming back to
Camino from another application.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
You must be a bit confused. The dock menu only displays the active windows not
the active tabs. And for tab switching we have the tab bar which shows you all
the tabs currently open. Doing this with a context menu seems very awkward to me.
Okay, putting all tab into the first level maybe a bit too many. How about add a "Tabs" submenu into
contextual menu? :)
I'm pretty against adding another menu. I understand that tab features are
fairly hidden in Camino, but it doesn't seem like we should add another submenu
to the mix. Users that want to know more about changing tabs can read our
documentation and learn the keyboard shortcuts (which arguably are easier to use
than a mouse anyway).

That said, this isn't an "unconfirmed bug". And more discussion should probably
take place.

Something like "Next Tab" and "Previous Tab" in the main browser window CM would
be useful without adding bloat.

I think I might have even had a working patch for this at one point, but I can't
remember for sure. Shouldn't be too hard, at any rate.

Reporter, would that solution satisfy you? I agree with Jasper and Samuel that
adding a submenu with *all* the tabs would be too cumbersome.

I'm still not sure I'd be okay with adding more to the context menu. This is why
we have keyboard shortcuts. The option (next and previous tabs) can also be
accessed from the Window menu.

I just don't see the value in adding more to a menu.

Chris, if you want to create a patch, be my guest, but I don't see this getting
checked in any time soon. A developer may disagree, but it sounds like it'll
de-simplify our menus a bit.
Summary: [Suggestion] Add tabs to the contextual menu for switching tab → Add tabs to the contextual menu for switching tab
FWIW, I think it's a bad idea, too. Everything on the page context menu is
about doing something to the page (tab) that's currently in view; there's
nothing there involving other views (tabs).
yeah, wontfix.
